At any time, about 27% of your patient panel has a behavioral health condition that is creating suffering, interfering with activities of daily living, and/or compromising the management of co-existing chronic illness. Fully 60% of those patients will never come to your attention for diagnosis and treatment. Screening your entire patient base will allow you to find these patients (approximately 324 patients in a typical PCP panel). Ten sessions, 20 hours, various departments
The Table to the left shows the content of each training session, along with the clinic staff who should attend. We've designed this syllabus based on a comprehensive review of the Integrated Care literature and more than 10 years of experience.
For the various staff departments, we can either deliver a two-hour training session for the entire depatment, or employ a "train-the-trainers" strategy
The program and one-time cost also include four hours of follow-up consultation to help you trouble shoot after launch.
